On Oct 18th 2016, Sisler High School had the priviledge of exploring history through the Holodomor Mobile Classroom. The HMC is housed in a 12-meter long bus with extensive multimedia capabilities including a theatre with seating for more than 30 students.

Winnipeg students learn about ‘unknown’ Ukrainian genocide aboard mobile classroom

A group of Winnipeg students just got a chance to learn about an “unknown” Ukrainian genocide in an interactive classroom on wheels. The 12-metre-long Holodomor Mobile Classroom rolled up to Sisler High School Tuesday. Students from two history classes were invited inside the mobile learning centre, where they took part in an hour-long interactive lesson.

Awareness tour of Ukrainian famine comes to North Battleford

The Holodomor National Awareness Tour will be stopping at North Battleford Comprehensive High School Oct. 11 and 12. Students and the public will have an opportunity to view the travelling museum featuring a “mobile classroom” with theatre-style seating.
